We had the honor of hosting about 20 students from ages 8 to 13 in two different classrooms to take on the exciting topic of financial literacy! Yes, we had candy ready to encourage enthusiastic participation. 

Our young friends learned about budgeting, taxes, different types of investments and investment accounts, the Rule of 72, and much more. The final assignment of our sessions allowed students to wrap their new skills into their own financial plan. Our junior investors mapped out their goals over the next 20+ years and aligned their risk tolerance and time horizons with an appropriate mix of investment types. 

It was a privilege to spend time with the children and friends of our AOG family and we look forward to continuing to host more Summer Sizzles moving forward!
